I could use a little help from my friends
Hello fellow language learners and followers!
Have you heard that Duolingo has launched a contest for teachers? We are required to describe how Duolingo would help our students learn in class. I am so excited, because I'm going into my fifth year of using Duolingo in class, and I know how it helps!
Before the DL staff will even read my essay, however, it needs to collect votes and become one of ten finalists. That is logical. The staff doesn't have time to read hundreds of essays.
For us it presents a problem. Our school is still on summer vacation, so none of the students even know about this contest. Our chances could be grounded without ever taking off.
So that is where you come in. Could you read this essay, and if you like it, cast your vote for us? I have so many followers on Duolingo, I wish I was so popular in real life! =D I think people follow me because I often comment in the forums, and give good advice. I also have a generous hand when it comes to giving away lingots. So if you have ever appreciated my help, now is your chance to seriously help me back. Cast your vote! I cannot do more without your help.
