Can anyone tell me where I can now find how many points I have achieved in a day? It seems to have gone! I have had a situation before where I studied for hours but gained no points that day. The next day my streaks had fallen to zero! I really don't want that to happen again.

Unfortunately, you can now only see how many points you have earned a particular day right after you have completed a lesson, not on the front page.

However, you can see whether or not you have earned any points (ie. kept your streak alive) today, by looking at the flame icon next to your streak number: if it has a tick mark, you have earned points today and your streak is safe until tomorrow, if not, you still have to earn some points (or buy a streak freeze in the lingot store).

In this new version of DuoLingo, rather than earning points, we earn XP, experience points. If this is what you're wondering about, you can find the number of XP you have gained today in the Leaderboard. I'm not sure what you mean when you say your streaks have fallen to zero though, but a day in your streak is added as long as you have completed a lesson for the day.

I don't know if I'm just not looking in the right place, but I can only see my weekly, monthly, and overall XP number in my leaderboard, not the daily one.

Oh! That can be seen at the end of a lesson. I'm afraid that's the only way I know of so far, but if I can find one then I'll be sure to tell you!
