"I want apple juice."
Translation:Sudd afal dw i eisiau.
I thought Welsh was SVO, but it says that "Sudd afal dw i eisiau" is also correct. Isn't "sudd afal" the object that I want, not the other way around?
"Dw i eisiau sudd afal" is the base form of the sentence and is also correct. Welsh also has a system of emphasis where you can place the most important aspect first in a sentence. i.e in this sentence "Sudd afal dw i eisiau" the apple juice is being emphasised.
