"On the Passover Seder we tell the story of the Exodus."
Translation:בליל הסדר אנחנו מספרים את סיפור יציאת מצרים.
On this discussion of course. During the Exodus is a bit off-topic i guess, but hey freedom of speech. I love to hear your story.
Essentially, I am a Jew who studies in Yeshiva and AnCatDubh is an Israeli atheist who got all his information about Judaism from non-religious and anti-religious sources. I know this because I chatted with him on Skype before. We're like oil and water, and if we get together - even online - it's a recipe for disaster. As you can see, we had a whole argument on this forum. The moderator got pretty upset and asked us to stop, threatening to ban one or both of us if it continues and removing all of our posts - including the post of a New Zealand Christian who took my side in the discussion. I don't know why the moderator left that one original post; he probably figured it would get downvoted to a hot place anyway
Oh ok, i got it. Thanks for sharing :). But to be very fair, the moderator was right, religious topic can be very heat and sensitive. I think that, it's best for you guys to discuss this in some other place, such as YouTube or Skype like you mentioned. With that being said, what happened during the Exodus may i ask ?
The Children of Israel were rescued miraculously from slavery in ancient Egypt through the Ten Plagues, and left Egypt proudly, with their heads held high, right after the Plagues ended, before the eyes of their former masters
