This really should’ve been introduced in Vietnamese first instead of letting us guess the classifier.
That's the least of the guessing going on here. Even the drop down hints are guesses at best.
Why was "châu Mỹ" rejected? The sentence should allow for "America" as geography as well as the USA, as it's unclear from the English what the reference is.
My guess is the "châu Mỹ" refers to all the countries in the Americas and here it refers to one, the good ol' USA. But they could have avoided the confusion for us if they had introduced "Hoa Kỳ" that specifies USA.
Make a mistake and learn new things.
