Streak not carrying over? *unresolved*
So I've just returned to duolingo after a hiatus and streaks aren't working as I expected. Namely, I have what I thought to be a 4-day streak (img: https://i.imgur.com/olIKz6p.png ) but the gui displays only 1-day, suggesting that the streak was reset. Can someone explain why this is, and if there's any settings I can change to make it more consistent?
Also, is text formatting supported on the forums?

Even if you're practising offline you need to be connected at least once per day so that your progress is synchronised.
Thanks for the formatting info! To answer your question yes, I've been using the web application exclusively and have never lost my internet connection.
How strange, but then I have no idea what could have gone wrong, sorry. Which app have you been using? Im using Android and never experienced such a glitch. Would it be better to place this into the troubleshooting forum, maybe you would get more responses there?

What is your daily goal set to?
If 30, then I would expect a one day streak.
Although I am puzzled by the dot being filled. Did you lower the daily goal since yesterday's lessons.

Ok, so if you click yesterday's dot (on the web site), does it show 20 or more?
(I find it a bit hard to tell on the picture, from the way they have drawn it, whether it is over or under)
If it does show 20 (or more) then I really have no idea. Unless you played with your timezone setting while using the mobile app (on Android)?

Update: https://i.imgur.com/gkIvw6B.png I didn't get a picture of it before, but the chart was earlier today (iirc) showing 0xp at the Saturday (土) mark, in contrast to the above pic. Maybe there's a correlation between time of day and schedule report? Will check tomorrow.
Early this year I encountered some sort of possibly similar bug where the chart switched between showing me as having missed some days and my actual activity. If I remember correctly, there seemed to be some correlation with switching language courses (all from English at that time) and/or refreshing the page. Not sure that I can help you much, though.
