I chose to enter 'y' it said it was close enough.

From what I see in the Incubator the correct answer is "psee" how it could accept ''y'' I can't understand, unless there was a serious glitch. We'll look into it but right now it's 2 am and I can't see straight so please wait until tomorrow. Are you sure it wasn't the Greek "υ" where 'y' would be correct?

I figured it accepted it because it was similar in appearance. I entered it since I did not know of a way to type the Greek symbol.

You can't really tell between the audio for Χ and the audio for Ψ, and when I typed Χ and Χι I was told I was typing in English.

The ψ has a definite p sound at the beginning. As in "liPSick" or "hiPTer". Go to the Tips and notes (see icon top left of page). And see here for more information.
