Surely לרוץ ל would make more sense. That would indicate a certain urgency.

If you say I want to run to the toilets, I think most people would understand your urgency to be connected to your desire to use the toilet itself. The idea of run away communicates the person’s desire to escape.

Listen, when you gotta go, you gotta go!

Run to the toilets, run away to the bathroom. If you're running away to escape you are running the room itself, not the toilet.

Shouldn't "אני רוצה לברוח אל השירותים" also be accepted?

That's what I am asking. I can't see what's wrong with the third version which has רוצה in the feminine form.

If only this sentence made sense

Well, some people - not me - some people that I know remotely through some other people I know - sometimes (through very rarely) hide in the toilet when they are hurt, angry or emotional during the workday. So then it would make some sense to said people. If I only knew them enough to ask them.
