Since when is yiota an English word, even when writing about Greece? If you must use these letter names (which no othet language written in another system is doing), at least use the standard English spelling, iota. Yiota is no more an English word than gegonos is.

Why is ι spelt like γιώτα? I was taught it was spelt ιώτα... Am I wrong, or do I simply use an old spelling of it??
