"It often rains in here."
Translation:Itt gyakran esik az eső.
I'm still having a hard time trying to figure the word order. Can anybody explain why "Gyakran itt esik az esö" is incorrect?
Well, look at the English sentence. Would you put "here" between "often" and "rains"? ".. often here rains" - does that sound OK?
In Hungarian, you can do that, but then "itt" would become emphasized, for being in front of the verb. As in "It is often here that it rains".
My bigger problem is with "in" in the English sentence "It often rains in here". Are we talking about an indoor rain?
