There is something which does not seem logical: only "a gyereken póló van" but "a magas férfiak fekete kestyűben" were acceted. Isn't it possible to use "a gyerek pólóban van" and "a magas férfiakon fekete kestyű van"?

Ha ruháról van szó akkor szerintem semmi különbség. Az egyik ugyanolyan mint a másik.

Is it possible to use a form of "ferfiakon" in this case? That should men the men "have on".

Yes. Those -ban and -on constructions are pretty interchangeable.

For instance "A magas, gazdag kínai férfiakon fekete kesztyű van."
