Shouldn't הוא תמיד מתאלף also be accepted? It was marked incorrect...

Possibly because of the typo in מתעלף. But also, תמיד translates to "always". It's not exactly the same, although can be used interchangeably in many contexts.

Thanks for the transliteration. It is very useful for beginners. Could you tell me in Portuguese what is מִתְעַלֵּף ? And what is "to pass out" ?

Celioluzverde,

מתעלף = pass out / faint. wiktionary fainting = desmaio

I don't know Portuguese (I used wiktionary.org here ), but you can ask these kinds of questions on hinative.com , I use the HiNative App a lot, (I know there are a lot of Brazilians on there, you can ask any language question for free and native speakers answer the questions) or the app/website: Reverso has Hebrew to Portuguese translation.

Can you help? Why can't you say הוא מתעלף כל הזמן?

It was accepted for me. December 2020

Interesting, I sometimes hear Israelis say something like, He all the time passes out." Sounds funny to me in English, but they are obviously translating from Hebrew where it's fine, maybe even preferred...
