Seems like a strange translation to me...I don't see any salespeople would be better I think. I don't think I've every heard, "I don't see any person". Rather, "I don't see any people".
How can you tell that there is an "any" in this statement? I thought it was more accurate to say "I don't see the salesperson".
It cannot be "the salesperson", since there's no Hungarian article a in the sentence.
The "any" probably stems from the fact that this sentence expresses that you don't see a salesperson at all. But you can go for the easier translation of "I do not see a salesperson."
