This sentence is quite odd in English. I cannot ver imagine saying this. Is it odd in Hungarian as well?
This is a place where I would use "toward" instead of "to" for the -hez ending. Picture someone on a roof, crawling/climbing up it toward the chimney at the top. Who is climbing toward the chimney?
ok thank you
Yes, really "ki mászik oda" or "ki mászik fel" would be the correct expression (native).
So this in to the chimney, "Ki mászik a kéményre" is onto the chimney and "Ki mászik a kéménybe" is into the chimney?
-------- duo accepted, "kima'szik a ke'me'nyhez" . i'd think that climbing out would be a flaw, no ? . . .

Santa, or the Grinch?
Finally a normal "short" sentence.
Really? Do you often climb to chimneys?
