Az a szép, az a szép, akinek a szeme kék, akinek a szeme fekete! :)

Isn't 'ki' the word for 'who'?

ki? is the word for a direct question (e.g. "Who is beautiful?"), aki a relative pronoun for an indirect question (e.g. "the woman who is beautiful").

Sorry, but I still do not understand. What is the difference between a direct question and an indirect one? Is "aki szep" not a complete sentence? Does this sentence require additional context in order for a person to determine when to use "ki" vs "aki"?

Aki = who. Never "which?"

Always refers to a person

So far "pretty" has been accepted for "szép". Why is this no longer the case?

My hungarian girlfriend says szép is more for nice pictures or a good looking tree or something. Not a person. Csinos is pretty person.

------ my hungarian wife says that sze'p = pretty and csinos = cute . . .

What the hell is this supposed to be? A question? A subordinate clause (‘Péter, aki szép, ...’)?

A subordinate clause.

Az a lány dolgozik, aki szép "The girl who is pretty is working."

------ a sentence fragment . . .
