Improve your German with these hilarious gadgets

Very funny! And the fact that there's an English translation on the packaging is most helpful for learners ;-)

I just love the coffee - especially the one called "Brazil Mild" :-)

That's a life! Drinking Brazilian coffee while learning Brazilian Portuguese, talking with my Brazilian friend and slurping a Batida de Côco with banana juice! And all that in Germany (apart from my friend) :-D

Thank you!

They are possibly called "Scheibenwischblatt-Nachschneider", because they aren't adult ones yet and are still growing on the windshield :-) :-D

Ich kann es eigentlich gar nicht lesen LOL Ik spreche kein Deutsch. Nur genug um das zu sagen :D

So you are welcome to explain your joke to me :)

I just liked the length of the name :D

Ah, I thought you were German, because of your German name "Zeitschleifer" :-)

Example: You have an appointment at the hairdresser/barber, because your hair/beard needs recutting or must be trimmed. In Germany we use the word "nachschneiden" for "recutting" :-)

Hairs/beards are growing naturally, but all other things are not, or are they? So this joke came into my mind :-D

Thank you! Yes, that’s what I thought (about what you thought). Sorry to disappoint you :P

Now I finally get this word :) They can actually be adult then with some kind of beard growing :) Otherwise they would probably grow in every direction at the same time :)

Once they finally invent this, it might become a best seller :)

I like the coffee mug holder. Because it's hard for me to hold my bottle whenever I'm riding my bicycle.

"Staubschwert. Because cleaning should be an adventure" had me actually laughing...

I wonder if it lights up as it gets charged from the static - would be a neat touch ;-)

Many of these things I find ridiculous as a German myself... But the "Potato Trident" I've known all my life. It's really helpful, if you have to peel cooked potatoes, while they are really hot!

I'm curious about how other people are doing that without burning their fingers? :-)

One can peel the potatoes before cooking or if the potatoes are boiled whole or in large chucks, use a towel to gently rub the skin off. Double fold the towel to keep hands from burning. Hope this works for you. It is interesting that potato in Dutch is aardappel or Earth apple and in Spanish papas is potatoes but Papa is Pope.
