Is there a difference between "ο λαγός μου" and "ο δικός μου λαγός" ? And in which cases are native speakers using the two options ?

There's a small difference in emphasis. "ο λαγός μου = "my hare" ΄"Ο δικός μου λαγός" = my own hare. Both are use with "ο λαγός μου" being more frequently used.

ο λαγός μου = my hare. The neutral expression.

ο δικός μου λαγός = my own hare; my hare. It emphasises that it belongs to you and to nobody else.
