I pay by cheque but I buy a car with a cheque not by cheque.

"Επιταγή" = "cashier's check" or "private check".

"bank draft" is the same thing as a "cashier's check", isn't it?

Yup, good catch :-)

Please accept 'with check' and 'using check'—the word 'using' isn't in the Greek, but feels more natural than 'by check'.

The English translation seems wrong!

Standard U.S. English versions I know are indeed "...bought by check/credit card" and "...bought with a check/with his credit card." Just curious, D. -- what phrasing were you expecting?

the hover hints give "a doctor" as the only hint for "ο γιατρός".

I see "a doctor" as a hint for γιατρός but not for ο γιατρός.

I've added "doctor" as a hint for γιατρός now, though.

o has a hint "the" which should be sufficient.

"The physician" should be accepted.

Yes, it was in the hints but not the alternatives. Thanks!
