last spring - is it wrong?
-------- "last spring " sounds like a very fluent translation . . .

why does tavaly come first in this sentence? I thought question words like Hol always started the sentence?
------- question words always come just before the verb . . .
I would like to know if the sentence in Present Perfect could be accepted: "Where have you been in spring last year?".
I wouldn't usually use "have you been" with a period of time that has definitely ended some time in the past (spring last year). I think "Where have you been" usually implies a period of time right up until now when I am asking the question.
I agree.
miért nem jó year nélkül , múlt tavasszal, a magyar így mondja.
What's wrong with "where were you last year in the spring?"
------- i hope you reported that your version should be accepted ? . . .
