Ι'm curious why the following is not correct: έχω σχέση με τη φίλη μου

Why is φιλενάδα not an option for girlfriend. It is the most correct translation.

Why is φίλη wrong (or not accepted)?

What was the entire sentence that you typed?

έχω σχέση με την φίλη μου

That should be accepted. It's essentially the same.

σχέση and δεσμό are synonyms. σχέση is actually more natural used in a phrase such as what does this have to do with me? for the word this.

It could also be ειμαθ σε σχεση με τη φιλεναδα μου
