I used נוסעים rather than הולכים. Would a native speaker going to the sea from, say, Jerusalem, use הולכים? I'm not quite sure of the walking/traveling/going lines between these two words.
I would usually say נוסעים. But maybe some people would sometimes say הולכים in a very general sense of we are heading for the sea.

Is this the Mediterranean sea or the Mediterranean in general? The answer suggests the sea but the question states just 'Mediterranean'.
