"the boy left the living room" is correct. "the boy left from the living room" is a mistake

Edit And now I see it without "from" above. That's a result of the change in the incubator, not an optical illusion. :-))

The train left the station. The train left from the central station or platform six not from somewhere else. "From" can be used with "to leave" in English but only in certain circumstances as shown above. However think I that από is always required in Greek.
