訳:I take it.
This accepts both 'I bring it' and 'I take it'. Can someone please clarify if this means you are bringing/taking something to a location or if you are taking an item with you (such as taking a book from the library). Or if it means both.
It can mean both; in English, the verb changes depending on what you focus on. "I'll take a book from the library", "I"ll bring it to your house" can both describe the same action, and in both cases you will use 持っていく.
In the same fashion, 持ってくる could be both "take" or "bring" if someone took/brought a book from somewhere to your location.
