Para los que quieran practicar conversando y escribiendo en ingles para medir nuestros conocimientos.
i don't understand what is a "lingot" or "racha". Can you or somebody explain me this please?
Hi, racha is a kind of flame that Duolingo gives you when you don't stop doing your exercises everyday... =)
It's like the Olympic Games, you have to keep the flame alive, no matter what!!!
And we also have the lingots, they are like virtual money or something like that =)
"What's up?" and "How are you?" have different meanings. They can both be used when greeting someone, but "What's up?" is answered differently. You can say "Nothing, what's up with you?" or you can explain what's going on. "What's up?" is equivalent to "What's going on?" Hopefully I explained this clearly. I'm a native English speaker who came here to learn Spanish. Good luck.
Hi AlejoConejo, tell us, Why did you choose to put a rabbit in your avatar instead of a real photo?
hi im new in this page, im gong tu been in london in two months to work and i really wan practice my english
Corrention: Hi. I'm new to this page, I'm gong to be in london in two months to work and I really want to practice my english
"Good luck with that" is usually a sarcastic statement. It's better to say "Good luck" if you don't want people to think you're being sarcastic.
ok I can help you but you should learn more orthography and take in count that London's english is too many diferent than United State's english in the accent and the way to say the words sometimes. So coment and i would help you. :)
si tú hablas inglés de americano en london, todas las personas pueden comprendar perfectamente :)

I'm trying to learn more english, and become more fluent, can you help?

Hola, soy nueva aqui, no entiendo muy bien como funciona, jeje pero me interesa practicar :)
I' am learning english because I want to study to the united states, so, what is your motivation?
I'm learning english because I'd like to travel to australia for a season. Also I'd like to work in a different country, and I'd like to meet other people, with different cultures and traditions.
Ok, first of all, it says PRACTICE and yes I practice baseball, tennis and sometimes soccer.
in Britain, practise is fine if it's used as a verb. Practice a noun. But I think in the use practice is used for both.
Give a like to this forum, it helps a lot to make it more known :D Thank you
