I can't get over the fact that the Polish word for brother is "brat".
Yesterday I was thinking about how strange it is that I haven't so far seen anyone point it out ;)
I pointed it out verbally rather than in the sentence discussions where my brother will never see it.
It is not that strange if we remember, that both Polish and English came from Proto-Indo-European language, and in PIE "brother" was "bhrā́ter", so this word is about 5000-6000 years old... See Indo-European Lexicon
wow! I had no idea; that's really interesting.
It's more like "brah" with a t at the end.
Bad audio here!
As a native speaker of Polish, I would say that the audio is fine (when checking on a PC), there is only an unnecessary emphasis on "siostra".
