Κλασσική κουλτούρα would refer to classical music, literature etc, not ancient.
It does! Κλασικός (with one σ) may refer to 1. sth unsurpassable, 2. classical music, 3. sth typical of its kind, 4. ancient greek era/studies, etc. Also note that the english translation could be either classic or classical depending on the meaning. And κλασσικός (with double σ) is considered wrong too.
I have always wondered how κλασικός and κλασσικός may be different, obviously I just can't spell! I must have kept the EN spelling in my Greek... Thanks for that!
I know that κλασικός may refer to κλασική Ελλάδα κλπ. however, I think that the phrase "Κλασική κουλτούρα" would not be interpreted as having to do with that time. It's usually 'κλασικός πολιτισμός'.
D: I was thinking of the culture associated with the Classical Era in the history of Athens?
