Ζεστός is an odd word, it can mean warm or hot ( both are accepted here). I like the phrase "Πο Πο ζεστή" (Sp?) useful on a very hot day - a quick path to sounding Greek!

That is another accepted translation. There are various levels of heat depending on the context and your concept of what is "warm---hot". so, we include more than one correct translation.

Check out these possible levels of heat:

  • ζεστός hot, warm, cozy

  • καυτός hot, boiling hot

  • θερμός

    hot, thermal, warm, heated, fervent, cordial

  • καυτερό hot
