I have never heared a welsh speaker use the term heddwas. ‚ÄĚDych chi eisiau'r heddlu" - Do you want the police would be a much safer and recognisable sentence.

Both "Dych chi eisiau heddwas?" and "Dych chi eisiau plismon?" are both the accepted answers for "Do you want a policeman".

Yes it is incorrect. "Heddwas/Plismon" is "(A) policeman", "Yr heddlu" is "The police".
