Visually impaired student

Hello! I have a student taking Spanish 3 that is visually impaired. I was wondering what types of settings I can modify to make it work for him. Obviously he can't read the text at all since he is blind and would need to have everything read to him or use the app/website in conjunction with another accessibility tool. He uses an iPad every day in class, but I'm not sure if he has a phone. He also has an aide that could help to some extent. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi AnnConklin, If you make it to level 2 in any language, you'll be able to edit your forum list and add the Educator forum. Once you do, I recommend that you edit your post and select Educator from the forum drop down list. Here are instructions: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/16609773

Widening acccess to education is an important topic. I want to make sure that the staff members working on the Education feature have a chance to see your post. :)

I have already completed all of Spanish, some German, and some Italian. I would like to use my work email as an educator, not my personal email that I used as a "student." How can I merge these accounts or can someone just post the question for me?? I already have active classes and I don't want to lose all of that data, assignments, etc.
