In English there are the verbs 'to see' and 'to look at'. They overlap but they have different meanings. In French the equivalents are 'voir' and 'regarder`'. Seeing can happen by accident; looking at implies intention. Which does 'βλέπω᾽ mean, or does Greek not distinguish between the two meanings?
