Is it just me or does the tone on trắng not go up? It sounds more like trằng to me
It does but it's very feint.
It's not you, I had to crank up volume and still barely hear it. Not sure if this is supposed to teach us to extract difficult tones from speech. I sure do wish they would slow down the speech at least.
how come "mau" sounds like hoe/foe etc ( apart from the fact it is low falling). I thought that without the "hat" on top, it should be pronounced as rhyming with "how/cow"etc.
