So near but yet so far. It is θεά with the accent on the last letter. I can't find any connection in any of the dictionaries or in the etymology. Very interesting observation. Thank you.
From the etymology, I think that θέα must come from θεάω (to view, to observe). The occitone accent for goddess is classical.
