La Bibliothèque française: Session 1
Date: le 3 octobre 2016
This is the first edition of La Bibliothèque française. To all the club members, thank you so much for joining the club. ^_^
Let us begin with books immediately! :)
1) Choose a book of your choice, appropriate for your level.
2) Begin reading by clicking on the blue coloured texts.
3) You must listen to the audio and video clips, they are going to help you understand and pronounce the words in French.
4) After you have finished reading a book, return to this session and write a little about the book you read in the comments. You may take help from the internet to translate words, but be sure that you also learn to write French as you learn vocabulary and sentences. :)
Two books do not have videos because I did not find any free movie websites for them. Please suggest links to the videos if you have any in the comments below. :)
1) 31.10.2016- Session 1 ends.
2) 01.11.2016 - Session 2 begins.
P.S. I have included only Level 1 and 2 for French reading. Level 3 (Advanced will be included in the next club session! :))
Let me know what you think about this session, so that I can improve the next session. :)
That's great Anneysha! I really like to join your club and enjoy reading french books ^_^ Merci beaucoup!
Best, I must say :) It must have took you a great deal of research to find them. I'll try to help as much as possible as early as I'm gonna have time. Keep up good work!! :)
I've got to say, this club seems like a really cool way of learning. I wish someone would do that for German. Good luck with your studies, and if you need help with anything French related just ask, I can probably afford to give a hand once in a while :)
Salut, merci pour l'invitation! J'ai juste une question - est-ce qu'on dit "nivel" au lieu de "niveau?"
Non, "nivel" n'est pas un mot français; c'est espagnol !
Good luck everyone with the reading, I hope it goes well. Le Petit Nicolas is a cute book, with very short and mostly self-contained chapters, so that is definitely recommended. If anyone finds the level of French too much for now, there's always Les Aventures de Tintin :D
So who's doing Contes de la bécasse? I want to do that but it seems a bit more difficult than Le Petit Nicolas. I might have to settle for Le Petit Nicolas :-(
Thank you. :) Choose a book that suits your levels and interests. :) I am doing 'Le Petit Nicolas' at the moment, but I will surely read all the other books. :)
Oh, please return to this discussion after you read the book and write a little paragraph in French about the book you read. It makes learning and the club fun! :)
Cool. Thanks. Wonder if each of us can create 10 questions to ask each other, which would help us to pay attention to the details of the story.
