άνδρας is still marked as wrong

That shouldn't be happening... it's one of the accepted alternatives in the Incubator.

Edit: if you were asked to type in Greek on this exercise, it was likely a "type what you hear" exercise -- those can only accept one answer, as far as I can tell. So for those, you should use the spelling άντρας as that's what the voice should be saying (i.e. with a /nd/ sound in the middle).

Both versions are accepted.

It marked as wrong ' the man paid'. Could this be correct also?

No, it is not.

"The man paid." is active and past. The man handed over some money in the past.

Ο άντρας πληρώνεται is passive and present. Someone is handing the man some money now -- the man is receiving money, he is getting paid, he is being paid.

No, that would be ο άνδρας πλήρωσε. I think.

I used payed there is a payed but not right for this exercise

Payed is used differently in English and won't be correct for this sentence. It's not the same as paid. Many explanations online. Search for it. Thanks!

The man is being paid? (It was marked wrong.) Thanks.

The sentence was last edited 2 years ago, both "being/getting" paid are accepted.
