First of all, perhaps there could be a single post like this: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/4277962 instead of having lots of different "stickied" posts.
Secondly, does anybody thing a so-called "stupid questions" thread would be a good idea? I often have questions that I think are too stupid (or likely to have been asked a lot or answered in the Tips somewhere) for me to clutter the forum and sentence discussions with. If there was a single thread for these questions it might encourage people in a similar boat to ask their questions. Having said that, perhaps this forum is so criminally underused we should encourage as many posts about anything as is possible...
Are most users app users? That would be a shame as they app is not very good.
I use the app for Vietnamese as my tablet gives me a great keyboard for entering Vietnamese letters with diacritics, but apart from that I agree that the PC/laptop version is much better. You get a lot more information from it.
I use the app mostly, simply because it is so much handier to use. I do obviously however check things on the website every now and then though.
I use both obviously, but the app is more convenient. At the moment I'm not really learning very much, waiting for the new Welsh Tree and so the discussions are more interesting - I would have thought it would be quite easy to either have these on the app or link them to be read and commented on elsewhere?
