Étteremhez can work if the boys are not going in. -höz is only for nouns with umlauts.

Yes, thanks for correction, I've noticed my mistake with the umlauted -höz only when I'd sent the comment already :-) But, nevetheless, there's nothing in the English sentence to say if the boys are going in... so both étterembe and étteremhez should be accepted, I suppose.

The sentence does not mention running into the restaurant, therefore, -be is not so obvious. I used -hez, which was incorrect.
