I had not seen "va" before, so I did not know the adjective.

Agreed. The verb "to go" has not been covered yet. It was especially frustrating when the first time I had this question, it was as a listening comprehension question only, so I couldn't hover over the word to translate it!

Why " L'homme part seul" is not correct?

that means "the man leaves alone"

this sentense tuns up a lot. Is this some kind of quote, or French movie title?

What's va? It says apparently "I peeked" when I hover over, so it must've been introduced before but I wasn't paying attention or what?

I think it was introduced in the "Phrases" lesson with the phrase "Comment ├ža va?" Which literally can mean "How it goes?" So therefore, "va" means "goes".
