Is there a difference in the two ways to say the answer? Is it a dialect thing?
Apparently "đáp án" is more like "solution to a puzzle or riddle" whereas "câu trả lời" is closer to "answer to a direct question" according to another commenter on one of the ...many... other questions in this section that caused confusion.
I agree. This is so confusing.
Đáp án = solution, the only correct response, such as in mathematics...
Câu trả lời = one's individual response, an answer to a question with (almost) endless possible responses unique to the point of view of the responder...
