Advice on buying Swedish books online.
I'm having a lot of trouble with this. The selection on both Amazon and EBay is very limited, and the bookstores in my town are either unwilling or unable to order foreign language books.
Does anyone know of a decent, reliable Swedish language online bookstore that delivers to the UK?
I've looked into Bokus. Some of the reviews I've seen online are a little unflattering, although that could just be the usual internet complainers. :) I wonder if any of the Swedes here have any experience with it?
From Bokus to France very good and very speedy service , but their shipping rates are very very high :( ...
Grant & Cutler, a specialist language bookshop founded in 1936, moved into Foyles in London recentlyish. Here's a link to their Swedish fiction section: http://www.foyles.co.uk/languages/all-other-languages/swedish/fiction

There are a couple of things I should add. First, I've never bought from them. Second, I don't know what they keep in stock, and what they have to order in. Third, I am guessing they were in the flooded store mentioned currently on the main page: http://foyles.co.uk/ so there could be some extra delays at the moment.
If anyone has used them, I would be interested to hear about their service?
I know google play had the millenium series. On Amazon I used the Swedish Bookstore to get a physical book. The selection is very limited though. Though I don't kniw if these options are available in the UK.
The selection is limited. You can try convincing your local library to add them. Mine is looking into it. Though there is a nearby Scandanivian heritage organization that makes it more likely they will be used.
