Won't download on Google Nexus 6P

On my third try now. Google 6P (Android 7.0 OS) with 16 GB space remaining on the phone, plenty of data capacity left on my account, and 4 of 5 bars 4G LTE service. I press the INSTALL button on Google Play, it starts downloading, and... it just keeps downloading with no indication of progress, let alone completion. Shouldn't take over half an hour, I'm guessing?

Agreed - I tried a couple of other apps from the Google Play Store, and nothing would download. So, almost certainly not a problem with Duolingo after all.

your phone might not have the capability to have the program.

Phone's only a year old, still considered pretty powerful. Google claimed compatibility with all my devices, including a phone two generations older than this one. And I've now verified it DOES work on my phone.

Downloaded and installed fine from my home WiFi - so the issue was either a temporary one on Google's server, or I've got a screwy setting on my cell data somewhere. I've downloaded programs over cell network before, but just updated to Android 7, so settings may have changed.

Had to nuke and reload Google Play Store. A new app has just finished downloading, and I've already run Duolingo (downloaded by WiFi yesterday evening). Problems resolved.
