Thought of стілець and guessed wrongly that (chairs) was feminine, so I wrote дві. Some of these ь endings really fool me.
I wrote "Два стільці на кімнаті", but this was wrong.
And in other phrases it is "на кухні". ???
I read in another thread that kitchen (кухні) is different than normal. Most rooms you say "in the room", у кімнаті, whereas with the kitchen you say on our at, much like a balcony or deck in English: на кухні
I read in another thread that kitchen is special. Most rooms you say "in" a room (у кімнаті) but in kitchen you say "at" or "on" (на кухні) much like we say with a balcony or a deck.
Чому не "стільця"?
