I got into French National Honor Society!
I got the letter earlier this week saying I got in! I was so nervous, because my grades for French were 92 in Freshman year, and 89 in Sophomore year. They average out into 90.2, so I had just a high enough grade to get in! I'm so happy!
Also, I think it's kind of funny how French and Latin are my strongest subjects in school, and English, my native language, is my weakest subject.
Congratulations! :D This is one awesome achievement! :)
Also, foreign languages have always been my strongest subjects as well and my native language never was ;D.
in america, there are honor societies for various subjects in school. for example, theres history national honor society, science, english, and theres a few different foreign language honor societies. It's a national organization. I'm not sure about the others, but to get into french national honor society, you need an A in both freshman and sophomore year, and to stay in the honor society, you have to attend every french club meeting, and go to at least one outing for the meeting, and you have to do community service. being in an honor society looks really good on college applications.
Out of curiosity, what do you do in the French club meetings? Will you have a chance to practice speaking?
I suck at English period. oh and I am considering joining in my school can u tell me if it is good
Great job! I'm personally in the German Junior Honor society, but in a few years (fingers crossed) I'll make it to the real thing. I'm homeschooled, so I can't exactly make it into the French one.
I believe you passed the DELF B2..? Was it difficult?
