this queston is mostly towards the native spanish speakers of central and south america.

y is it that these dialects drop the letter s sound in words? i hear it from the chilean/cuban/puerto rican dialects mostly. for an example, the word mismo sounds like mimo when they say it.

for the native spanish speakers from these regions, state where ur from and if people there drop the s so that comparisons can be made

Hi jkl,

You might have better luck in the Spanish Discussion forum. Here is a link to a guide that will introduce you to all of the forums on Duolingo, what they are for, and where to find them: For detailed instructions and help finding them, go here: http://www.duolingo.com/comment/1254215

Good luck! ^_^
