Recommended Memrise Course?

Hello! I don't normally post on here but I've been wondering, if anyone uses Memrise, if you'd have any recommendations for courses to do alongside the Duo tree. Danke schön!

I recommend German official A1 and A2, they are great alongside Duolingo. You may also do the Duolingo words to help you memorize the vocabulary. Memrise is great, they have good courses and not so good, but I think it is very helpful.

Are you talking about http://www.memrise.com/course/629122/a1-german/ ? This seems to be one with plenty of explanations as far as I know from when I learned some words not so long ago.

Yes, that is the first one, and when you finish and feel that you are ready you take the A2.

I am using this (http://www.memrise.com/course/1098512/german-1/) German course on Memrise along with the Duolingo course.

For learning languages on Memrise, I recommend and use the ones by Memrise.

I'm using this course, too ! Its progress is slower than Dou so it helps me not to forget previous Dou lessons.

Yes, that is what I found out too. I remember more words from the Memrise courses :)

I recommend German - http://www.memrise.com/course/250004/learn-german-for-polyglots/ 6237 Words/Expressions

French - http://www.memrise.com/course/250003/learn-french-for-polyglots/ 7479 Words/Expressions

Spanish (although I'm not doing this one but the series is very good) - http://www.memrise.com/course/250002/learn-spanish-for-polyglots/

Swedish (in two parts) - http://www.memrise.com/course/2205/6000-swedish-vocabulary-words-first-half/ http://www.memrise.com/course/160710/6000-swedish-vocabulary-words-second-half/ The Swedish one has over 7000 expressions feels more random than the polyglots courses.

All the above have audio too.

There is also the wonderful option of making your own and adding words you come across as you learn. I do this by using readlang.com and then putting my new words into memrise.

Enjoy!
