How does Duolingo transferring back voice data?

Hi, thanks for reading.

I'm in China. I was accessing www.duolingo.com via us/de/hk ladders. (We call the means of breaking GFW to access blocked sites LADDER.) But was getting interference by GFW every now and then, I can hardly use www.duolingo.com smoothly. -- And I've tried four abroad servers with more than ten ways/combinations of ladder techniques.

Today I tried a new way, it's quick, smoothly when using duolingo.com, only that I cannot use microphone anymore. It seems by this ladder, duolingo can't get any of my voices back. Not single word will be green during any speaking practice.

I wonder how duolingo gets voices back, and is there a way I can make it work?
Any suggestion would be welcome :)
The new ladder I'm using now is "xx-net", an open source project on github. It uses lots of google's ips to access sites got blocked by GFW.

Thanks a lot!

update: I'm sorry I made a mistake. It's the microphone not working, not speaker. ( I've tried recording, the microphone is actually working, but duolingo can't get my voices back )

Since you're asking for help using the site, could you move this post to the Troubleshooting forum? You're likely to get more and better answers there, because that's where the people who are willing to help with this sort of problem hang out. It will also help keep this forum easy to navigate for those who aren't part of the troubleshooting group.

Don't delete it and create a new one, just click edit, and change the topic from Duolingo to Troubleshooting. Here's a guide on how to move a post: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/16609773.

Thanks :)
