Is the English translation correct? "If we'd had the idea" Why the need for had twice?
I think an alternative for "we'd" should have been available for answering. Here "we'd" seems to be a contraction for "we had" but in "we'd be good" it seems to be a contraction for "we would" so it's not unambiguous.
In other questions you have been very strict that 'tasen' translates as 'if we were (to)'. So is 'if we were to have had the idea' or 'if we were to have the idea' correct?
