Just finished "Possessives 2 lesson 6" and what a waste of half an hour that was!
Completely agree. It becomes less about the concept we're trying to learn, and more about trying to avoid the pitfalls and minefields of misspelling the Hungarian terms for "foal" and "fawn".. very frustrating experience!
Forced translation of the name Laszlo, and I think it should also accept "is standing" in addition to "stands"
Not only forced, also wrong. Laszlo and Leslie are not related at all, they just sound kinda similar.
I wrote "colt", and it was wasn't accepted because they wanted me to use "foal". Is there a different word for "colt" in Hungarian? After all, it's just a question of the age of the horse.
It's the same, "csikó".
Foal and colt are both csikó; a filly is a kancacsikó.
My understanding is the young of a horse can be a colt, foal, or filly in English. Why is my answer not correct?
It should accept colt or foal (if not report it). But "filly" is "kancacsikó".
Inconsistent name translations
László's colt is standing in front of the house.
You missed the "little".
