Would 'to which region?' also be an accurate translation?

Yes, it is one of the accepted translations.

Thanks Jaye. I think I may have been marked incorrectly for it - if that happens again, I'll report it.

I had been marked incorrect for "to which area", which I would think is also an accurate translation. Should it not also be accepted?

There was an issue in another thread where the English translation beginning with "To" wasn't accepted because it was a capital "τ"/ταυ masquerading as a capital "t" — could something similar be happening here?

We didn't have this sentence but we've added it now. Thanks for your suggestion.

How do you know when to use "σε" vs. "στο"/"στη" ?

στον/στη/στο is a compound of σε + τον/την/το, i.e. "to the" rather than just "to". (Or "in the, at the" rather than "in, at".)
