I am on the stock market does not sound correct. I would say I am at the stock market.

" I am in the stock exchange" is accepted.

An American input please. I always though that "the stock market" was the action of selling and buying and that the " stock exchange" was the building?

jeanprendiville, you are correct. Stock Exchange is the building where you trade stocks like the New York Stock Exchange. The stock market is the action of selling and buying stocks. The correct translation of the above sentence should be: "I am at the Stock Exchange".

Thanks Lng52 for the clarification. The infrastructure mentioned in your reference includes the building in which it operates, e.g. The NY Stock Exchange is I believe on Wall Street. So the only correct answer would seem to be "I am in the stock exchange".

"I'm at the stock market" was marked wrong. I think it's correct

"I am on the stock market" makes zero sense in English.

"I'm in the stock market" is grammatical, though it may not be advisable.
