Seems to be that the voice doesn't pronounce 'y'. At least I can't hear it at all.
From playing the clip here it sounds remarkably accurate to me. Remember the 'Y' is an 'Uh' sound here.
Where is the "Like" in this sentance
This sentence is literally:- 'How was the weather yesterday?' which is often transcribed to 'What was the weather like yesterday?'
There's no single word in that sentence that translates to "like", but the sut translates to "what ... like" here.
Ohhh, missed that part. Thanks!
